The Northeastern Go-Kart Co., held race #12
which was the final race of the 2007 Race
Season, this past Saturday afternoon at Barre’s
Thunder Road. The race which was sponsored
by Senesac Yamaha of St. Albans and Music By
Don & Co. of Montpelier was the climax of the
2007 season. The NEKC Youth Development
Program feature winners are as follows:
Optical Expressions Kid Kart Division, ages 5-8,
Neal Davis Sicard, Milton, Vt. - No champion
crowned in this division as all participants are
considered champions.
E.E. Packard Enterprises Jr. Sportsman 1
division:
Derrick Mann, Waterbury, Vt. took the
checkered flag subject to confirmation after post
race inspection of all top three participants. He
has also taken the ‘07 Championship in this
division after confirmation.
Sanel Auto Parts/Parts Plus Jr. Sportsman Champ
Division:
Marcel Gravel, Wolcott, Vt., took the feature
and also the ‘07 Championship.
Sanel Auto Parts/Parts Plus Senior Champ
Division:
Tom Cramer, Fairfield, Vt.,took his first feature.
with Neal Davis of Milton taken the ‘07
Championship.
Cody Chevrolet Briggs Jr. Division: Caleb
Nelson, Moretown, Vt., took feture and
Championship for ‘07.
Bond Auto Parts Briggs Medium Division was
taken by Kyle Nelson, Moretown, Vt. and Kyle
is also the winner of the ‘07 Championship.
Napa Auto Parts Jr. Sportsman 2 Division: No
winners or Champions have been named yet in
this division. Napa also sponsors the hard luck
award plus the most improved drivers award
which has not been named yet.
Advanced Auto Parts/ McLeods Spring & Chassis
Mini Act Division: R.J. Camara, St. Albans, Vt.,
took the feature victory with a very closely
contested second and third Donny Yates of
North Montpelier and Mark Senesac of St.
Albans, Vt. Kevin Dodge of Montpelier took the
‘07 Championship.
The New England Race Fuels/Sunoco Race Fuels
Rookie of the Year
awards cannot be released yet until final
tabulations of the Points are completed.
